An Atlantic Ocean free of garbage and plastics.
This MANIFESTO aims to raise awareness and offer organizations that want to get involved in this initiative, a series of actions by way of recommendations so that we can together take the path to reduce the waste that reaches our seas, and thus achieve an Atlantic Ocean without pollution.
Actions
- Redirect productive activity towards a circular economy without plastic leakages and marine litter.
- Reduce the amount of single-use plastics and bet on reuse.
- Carry out dissemination and awareness work on the problem of marine litter in the oceans.
- Collaborate in local campaigns to clean up and remove waste from the sea.
- Promote the development of knowledge, supporting scientific research to mitigate garbage and promote the life of essential marine species.
